Description

Tamper Resistant Disc-Lock
The Tryten MacBook Pro Lock Z5 is secured using the built-in disc-lock. Each lock is made of high quality material, and includes a chrome-plated lock face, a chrome-plated zinc cable collar, and a stainless steel lock body.

Keying Options
Keying options for the MacBook Pro lock include: Keyed Differently, Keyed Alike or Master Keyed systems. The Keyed Differently system has a unique key code to each lock. The Keyed Alike system has a common key code for each of the locks in the group.  The Master Key system has a unique key code to each lock but also has a master key for an authorized personnel to access any of the locks deployed in that enterprise.

Future Orders
As a manufacturer, Tryten can easily supply your future Lock orders with the same Keyed-Alike or Master Key Group as your original order.  In fact, we are the only manufacturer that will do that for quantities as little as "one".

Steel Cable Construction
The Tryten MacBook Pro Cable Z5 is made of rugged Aircraft grade galvanized multi-stranded steel, which resists cutting with tools like bolt cutters. The Tryten MacBook Pro Cable is 6' long to secure your MacBook Pro while comfortably working in your workspace.

Attachment Method

Easy 3 Step Process
Step 1: Loop the cable around any immovable object
Step 2: Slip the Chrome lock through the loop
Step 3. Attach the lock to any available VGA, Serial, or Parallel port on the MacBook Pro

Desk Anchor
In some cases where a user environment does not have a suitable object to loop the cable around, we suggest the use of a desk Anchor.  This Desk Anchor attaches to the desk with a powerful adhesive providing up to 1000 pounds of pull force.  Once secured to the desk the MacBook Pro Lock can loop through the desk anchor as the secured point.
