| Tamper Resistant Disc-Lock |
The Tryten Laptop Econo Lock is secured using the built-in
disc-lock. Each lock is made of high quality material,
and includes a chrome-plated lock face, a chrome-plated
zinc cable collar, and a stainless steel lock body. |
| Steel Cable Construction |
The Tryten Laptop Econo Lock is made of rugged Aircraft
grade galvanized multi-stranded steel, which resists
cutting with tools like bolt cutters. The Tryten Laptop
Cable is 6' long to secure your Laptop while comfortably
working in your workspace. |

Steel Loop Anchor
Item: 497750
| In some cases where a user environment does not have a
suitable object to loop the cable around, we suggest
the use of a Steel Loop Anchor. This anchor attaches
to the desk with a powerful adhesive providing up to
1000 pounds of pull force. Once secured to the
desk the Laptop Lock can loop through the anchor
as the secured point. |

Mounting Plate
Item: 292207
| When a thumbscrew nut is not available due to the use
of a docking station or external monitor or projector,
a mounting plate can be used. The mounting plate attaches
to the laptop using an industrial strength adhesive. It
is very discreet, simple to deploy and extremely secure.
The Z5 then screws into the plate. This creates a universal
solution for all laptops no matter the model or user environment. |

Keying Options
| Keyed Differently [KD] |
An excellent option for individual end users and situations that don't require administration or a key recovery system. One unique set of two keys is assigned to each lock. |
| Keyed Alike [KA] |
All locks within a set are keyed the same; thus, any key will open any lock. Perfect for an environment such as a school or lab, or for any situation where the end user is not authorized to unlock equipment. The key is typically managed by an administrator. |
| Master Keyed [MK] |
Ideal when both centralized management and end user flexibility are required, each lock is keyed differently from the other and comes with its own unique set of two keys. A Master Key capable of unlocking any of the locks is used by a designated administrator. If a user loses a key, an administrator can unlock the equipment with the Master Key. A minimum of 25 units must be purchased to qualify for the Master Key system. |
Future Orders |
As a manufacturer, Tryten can easily supply your future Laptop Econo Lock orders with the
same Keyed-Alike or Master Key Group as your original
order. In fact, we are the only manufacturer
that will do that for quantities as little as "one". |
Attachment Method
This locking device utilizes our exclusive press-to-lock feature
that makes installation fast and easy. Simply secure the lock to any
VGA, Serial, or Parallel port and press. Unlike other cumbersome
locks, the Laptop Econo Lock doesn't require keys
or two hands to secure the lock. This also
reduces the risk of misplacing keys during larger enterprise-wide
deployments of this device.

The Tryten Laptop Econo Lock is compatible with IBM, Dell, Apple,
HP, Compaq, Sony, Acer, Toshiba, Gateway, Panasonic
and Fujitsu laptop models.
